Bearwood Gardening Club

Bearwood Gardening Club was formed in April 2000. We meet monthly in Bearwood Community Centre at 7.30pm (except January, August or December).

Meetings range from speakers, slideshows/films and demonstrations. Subjects have included plants, gardens and the local area.

The club is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). We annually go to RHS Wisley, as well as other RHS gardens across the country. Members have visited NGS gardens, and have gone on guided walks with the wardens of Canford Heath, Turbary Common and the Stour.  The last walk was on Brownsea Island where we had a guided tour by a Dorset Wildlife Trust member.

Members pay £7/year and then £2/visit. Visitors £3. Tea/coffee and biscuits included.
