The children’s playpark between King John Avenue and Runnymede Avenue has recently been refurbished, thanks to Borough of Poole. Up to £55,000 was spent on improving the play area, which is well used and loved.
A selection of new toys have been installed including swings, an adventure slide, a large climbing frame, and a zig-zag balance bar. A new rubber surface was laid, and the fencing has been repainted. For older children, a shelter has been installed, a tyre swing, a zip wire, and a BMX track.
