Public consultations for proposed housing development

Public consultations for proposed housing development

A series of public consultations for the proposed Canford Park development will take place throughout Poole this month.

Canford Park is a proposed new development in the north of Poole, providing a wide range of housing types for first-time buyers to larger family homes. It is one of a number of options currently being considered by Borough of Poole as part of the Review of the Poole Core Strategy. It will also include a new local centre, a primary school, shops and other community facilities.

There are also plans for a new business park which will help to retain local businesses and attract new companies to the area. This, in turn, will create new jobs.

Your feedback will help shape the groups final plans and ensure they deliver a scheme which meets the needs and challenges of the existing community.

The consultation dates are as follows:

13 September : 3pm to 8pm                 Bearwood Community Centre
15 September : 12 noon to 5pm             Poole Library, Dolphin Centre
19 September : 3pm to 8pm                 The Spire (Methodist Church), Poole High Street
20 September : 3pm to 8pm                 Canford Cliffs Village Hall
22 September : 3pm to 8pm                 Oakdale Community Partnership Centre
27 September : 1pm to 5pm                 Community Room, Tesco Fleetsbridge
